On Pro, you can copy most Security Ninja settings between sites from **Security Ninja → Tools**.

## Export settings

1. Open **Security Ninja → Tools** and find **Export**.
2. Select all text in the export box.

3. Copy it somewhere safe. Do not edit the text by hand. Change settings in the plugin UI before export, or after import on the new site.

License data is not included. Enter the license key on the destination site yourself.

## Import settings

1. On the destination site, open **Security Ninja → Tools** and find **Import**.
2. Paste the exported text.

3. Click **Import Settings**.
4. Spot-check Firewall, Events, and other modules you care about.

## Notes for 5.303 and newer

Exports from Security Ninja **5.303+** include:

* Firewall **Visitor IP detection** and **Trusted proxy CIDRs**
* Events **Log REST API errors** (defaults to off if an older export omits it)

Older exports without those keys import as **Automatic** IP detection with an empty proxy list. See [Visitor IP detection](https://wpsecurityninja.com/docs/firewall/visitor-ip-detection/).

The [secret unblock URL](https://wpsecurityninja.com/docs/firewall/secret-access-url/) is never exported. Save that URL separately for each site.
