title: Reselling or transferring licenses

You may use your license on sites you own or clients you manage directly. You may **not**:

* Resell or rent the license
* Share it with other agencies or freelancers as a pooled seat
* Transfer ownership to another person or company through support

Sharing or renting can lead to the license being revoked.

For moving a **site activation** between accounts you control, see [Transfer site license to another account](https://wpsecurityninja.com/docs/account/transfer-site-to-another-account/) and [How to transfer billing to a client](https://wpsecurityninja.com/docs/account/how-to-transfer-billing-to-client/) where Freemius supports those flows.
