Welcome to WP Security Ninja! By using our plugin and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the product.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and activating WP Security Ninja, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our plugin.

2. Description of Services

WP Security Ninja offers a self-hosted WordPress plugin designed to protect users’ websites through analysis tools, maintenance features, and event logging. Optional integrations include:

MainWP Integration: Allows for centralized management of multiple WordPress sites.

3. User Responsibilities

Users are expected to:

Ensure their WordPress environment meets the plugin’s technical requirements.
Keep their WordPress installation, themes, and plugins updated.
Use the plugin in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Refrain from attempting to reverse-engineer, duplicate, or distribute the plugin’s proprietary code.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Plans: We offer monthly and annual subscriptions with automatic renewal. Users will be notified via email prior to renewal.
Cancellations: Users may cancel their subscription at any time before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for renewals.
Trials and Refunds: A 30-day trial is available, and we offer a 30-day refund policy for all users. Exceptions include lifetime deals from promotions like AppSumo, which are limited to the customer’s use and cannot be resold or rented.

5. License Grant and Restrictions

License Scope: Licenses range from single-site to 5,000-site usage for annual and monthly subscriptions.
Non-Transferability: Licenses are non-transferable and cannot be resold or rented.
Proprietary Rights: While the plugin’s PHP code is licensed under the GPL, other assets such as images, CSS, and JavaScript are proprietary. Users are prohibited from modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works of these proprietary assets without explicit permission.

6. Privacy and Data Collection

Data Collection: We collect minimal data from users. Free users can opt to use the plugin without creating an account. Registered users may provide basic information such as WordPress version, PHP version, and installed plugins to assist with support and conflict resolution.
Data Usage: Collected data is used solely to improve the plugin’s performance and user experience. We do not share user data with third parties without consent.
Data Protection: We implement industry-standard measures to protect user data. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

WP Security Ninja is provided “as is.” While we strive to ensure compatibility and security, we are not liable for:

Data loss resulting from the use of the plugin.
Security breaches or hacks.
Incompatibilities with WordPress websites or servers.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the plugin.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unacceptable, or for breach of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Florida, where WP Security Ninja is based.
