Bulk Actions in MainWP

The Security Ninja MainWP Extension adds new functionality to the way you manage security across multiple websites in your MainWP Dashboard. This includes adding more bulk actions to the sites overview, streamlining your website management process.

Bulk Actions

MainWP’s enhanced features allow you to select one or multiple websites for various bulk actions. This functionality is crucial for efficiently managing multiple sites, reducing the time and effort required for routine tasks.

You can access these new bulk actions in the ‘Sites’ menu of your MainWP Dashboard. Just go to the ‘Sites’ section, where you’ll find these added actions, designed to make your website management more efficient and less time-consuming.

Run Security Tests Bulk Action

Among these new features is the ‘Run Security Tests’ bulk action. This powerful tool allows you to initiate security tests on multiple websites simultaneously, saving you time and effort.

Run Security Tests bulk action

To use this feature, follow these simple steps:

  1. Select the desired websites from your MainWP Dashboard.
  2. Choose the ‘Run Security Tests’ bulk action from the options provided.
  3. Confirm that you want to start the tests

You are about to run all security tests on the selected sites?

Once you initiate the bulk action, Security Ninja will send a request to each selected website, instructing it to begin remote testing. This process is not only efficient but also incredibly user-friendly.

After initiating the tests, we recommend allowing a few minutes for the websites to complete all the necessary security checks. This brief waiting period ensures that each site has adequate time to thoroughly run all tests.

Finally, resync the websites in your MainWP Dashboard. This step is crucial as it collects the updated test scores and other relevant data, providing you with a comprehensive overview of your websites’ security status.

Update vulnerabilities bulk action

This action sends a request to all selected websites to update the list of known vulnerabilities. Each website automatically updates the list of vulnerabilities once a day, but you can force this event by using MainWP.

The plugin runs a check of your installed plugins, themes and even your installed WordPress version and alerts you if there are any known vulnerabilities. The list of known vulnerabilities is pulled from different sources including the National Vulnerability Database.

With the Security Ninja MainWP Extension, managing the security of multiple websites has never been easier or more efficient. This tool is an essential addition to your security toolkit, designed to give you peace of mind and complete control over your online assets.
