Change how long visitor logs are kept

On busy sites the visitor log table can grow quickly. Shorten retention to keep the database smaller.

Steps

1. Go to Security Ninja → Firewall.
2. Open the Visitor Logging section / tab.
3. Confirm Track visitors is on if you want logging at all.
4. Set Keep visitor logs for to 1, 3, 7, or 14 days.
5. Save settings.

Default retention is 7 days.

Security Ninja runs an automated cleanup daily (secnin_prune_visitor_log) to remove rows older than your retention setting.

You can turn Track visitors off to stop writing new rows. To wipe the table immediately, use Clear visitor log on Security Ninja → Tools.
